Been A While

It has been awhile since my last blog. Life is good. I have gotten a promotion at work which will give me another 2k a year. Not much I know, but better than most folks I know. My father lost his job today. I pray that he will be alright.
I will be getting my free car legal to drive on the road tomorrow. I can't wait. My kids are excited about it. Finally, a car with four doors and one that they all can fit in.
Tomorrow is one of my daughters birthday. I am happy, because I am able to afford the gift she wants. She want a Nintendo hand held game. I found one on ebay for about 40 dollars cheaper than I can buy it in the store. She will be surprised. I am looking forward to it.
I am going to be entering the Houstons Funniest Person contest. I think I have a good chance, although there will be a lot of very good comics in the competition.
